The UNIZUL Science Centre (USC) has Zululand’s only planetarium – a portable Starlab in which 30 learners can enjoy a perfectly accurate depiction of the southern night skies. The planetarium is the highlight of a comprehensive 4-hour astronomy programme that is run by USC. The programmes includes a walkthrough of USC, analemmatic sundial, telescopes, optics, the history of South African Space Science Exhibition, the astronomy quiz game as well as a choice of one of our awarding wining science shows that includes
